About UMB Premier Business Online Banking

Most customers moved to UMB Premier Business Online Banking. We provided customers moving to a different platform with separate instructions.

All business online banking customers received new login credentials.

With Premier Business Online Banking, you can manage your company’s finances efficiently and securely with integrated account and user management, and simple, flexible reporting supported by data security and accuracy.

ACH Filter Customers:

  • On October 14:

    • Log in and validate user notifications, settings and authorization/payment rules are accurate.
    • ACH Filter items must be decisioned before the 7 p.m. CT cut off. This first-time decisioning will include three days of items.

How to log in to Premier Business Online Banking

Most customers will move to UMB Premier Business Online Banking. We will provide customers moving to a different platform with separate instructions.

Registered users can visit UMB.com/business-online-banking to log in to the platform.

Follow these steps for your first-time access to Premier Business Online Banking and the UMB Mobile app:

  1. Visit UMB.com/business-online-banking or download the UMB mobile banking app.
  2. Enter your new User ID. Your new User ID will be delivered to you prior to conversion weekend.
  3. Enter your existing password.
  4. Select how you would like to receive your secure access code.
  5. Enter your secure access code.
  6. You will be prompted to verify your information and enter a new password. In the mobile app, you’ll have the option to set up biometric (face ID or touch ID) authentication. You should delete your previous mobile banking app at this time.
  7. Review your accounts, preferences, alerts, user setups and their access to accounts and functionality, payments, scheduled and recurring transfers, payments to loans/lines of credit or credit cards, Bill Pay payees and payments, ACH and wire templates, etc.

Once your initial login is successful, you will need to review and accept the UMB Online Banking Agreement and register your device.

Important service information

You can access up to 19 months of deposit account statements and 19 months of transaction history in Premier Business Online Banking. While most recent history will be available when you first log in October 14, the remaining will be available shortly after.

Historical account analysis statements were not transferred to UMB systems.

Convenient payment tools are available within online banking, including:

Zelle® was discontinued October 7, and you no longer have access to it in mobile or online banking. Please update anyone who sends you payments or requests for payments and make arrangements for an alternative payment method.

If you are a Quicken or QuickBooks user, as part of your transition to UMB Bank, you will need to modify your settings to ensure that your data connectivity transfers smoothly.

Please remember: We will never contact you to request or confirm confidential information or request a video call, and we’ll never ask for sensitive data like PINs, or online banking usernames, passwords or access codes. If you suspect fraud, contact our customer service team immediately.

Commonly asked questions

You need new credentials to access UMB Premier Business Online Banking. We provided you with a login ID consisting of “Company ID-user name.”

You can log in to Premier Business Online Banking at UMB.com/business-online-banking. At your first-time login, follow the prompts to set a password and register your browser (if desired).

Your scheduled or recurring bill payments carried over to UMB Premier Business Online Banking.

We recommend reviewing bill payments in your online account to make sure your payees, payments and other information migrated correctly.

Please note: Bill Pay billers must have a mailing address to have been converted to UMB. Billers with missing or inaccurate names, addresses or account numbers did not convert.

Any recurring, automatic internal transfers you set up in online banking before October 10 carried over to your UMB Premier Business Online Banking account. We recommend reviewing transfers in your online account to make sure your settings and other information migrated correctly.

If you have set up external account transfers, those transfers did not carry over as this functionality is not supported.

Your transactions carried over to UMB. We recommend reviewing and reapproving your transactions/templates before utilizing.

If you received electronic statements, you’ll continue to receive electronic statements from UMB.

If you didn’t receive electronic statements, we’ll provide you with both paper and electronic statements by default. You can update your preference to only electronic statements if desired.

We provide individual statements for each of your accounts, rather than a combined statement.

Most account alerts set before conversion weekend carried over to UMB Premier Business Online Banking. However, alerts created for transaction types that are not supported at UMB did not carry over.

We recommend reviewing alerts in your online account to make sure your settings and other information migrated correctly.

A small number of customers may see more, or fewer authorized accounts displayed in their UMB profile than in their previous online banking profile. For more information, call 888-892-1694.

If you still have pending transactions made with your old debit card, they display as “MANUAL ENTRY” in your online banking account. Once no longer pending, these transactions are automatically updated with merchant-specific descriptions. However, transactions made with your new UMB debit card display merchant-specific descriptions from the time they are made.
