New for customers

If your loan/line of credit is set for autopayment, you’ll begin receiving statements.

If your loan/line of credit is not set for autopayment, you’ll continue receiving statements. These will be individual statements, instead of a combined statement for all your accounts.

Historical statements will be available in online banking within a week of conversion. However, this information will only be available for customers who currently receive statements.

Important account information

Your loan/line of credit is based on terms that were set when your loan/line of credit documents were signed. Your current loan documentation will not change based on this transition.

Some loan/line of credit numbers were required to change. Please refer to your UMB monthly billing statement for updated information.

Autopayments

If your automatic payment is set to pay your monthly billing statement on its due date through a prescheduled transfer from your HTLF account, you don’t need to do anything. These autopayments will continue after conversion. However, autopayments on a loan or line of credit will not continue to process after October 10 if:

  • You make autopayments through an account at any other financial institution.
  • You make autopayments outside of your monthly statement billing due date.

For these two situations, you’ll need to set up your autopayments again. Go to your online banking account to reestablish autopayments that didn’t carry over.

Statements

If you currently receive a combined statement for all your accounts, you will begin receiving individual account statements after conversion weekend. If you are signed up for e-statements, you will receive both an e-statement and paper statement beginning October 14.

Commercial lines of credit advances and paydowns

Beginning October 14, 2025, some customers will experience changes to online functionality for advances and paydowns. If you are unable to complete a transaction as expected, please contact your banker for assistance.

Important fraud reminder

Scammers often try to exploit business transitions, like acquisitions and mergers. Please remember: We will never contact you to request or confirm confidential information or request a video call, and we’ll never ask for sensitive data like PINs, or online banking usernames, passwords or access codes. If you suspect fraud, contact our customer service team immediately.

Commonly asked questions

Your loan is based on terms that were set when your loan documents were signed. Your current loan documentation will not change based on this transition.

Additional/extra payments will not carry over to the UMB system (i.e. separate, additional payments added to your regular monthly loan payment on a separate date from your monthly due date). After October 14, go to Payments and Transfers in your online banking account to reestablish your automatic additional payments, or visit a UMB branch to make an additional payment.

Refer to your monthly billing statement for your loan number and payment options. This statement will include an updated address for loan payments, and using this updated information will expedite payment posting.

Most overdraft lines of credit require no action and will automatically continue after conversion. If you require a new setup before conversion, we will contact you.

Please use your UMB billing statement to ensure the bill payment is directed to the updated address and loan number (where applicable) for loan payments.
