About your new accounts
Your business deposit accounts have transitioned to UMB. All account changes are effective October 14. Please review the important account information you received in early September.
Important account and service information
You received communication with your login instructions close to conversion weekend. Most customers will move to UMB Premier Business Online Banking. We provided customers moving to a different platform with separate instructions.
You can use the new UMB credit, debit or ATM card you received in early October. Be sure to stop using your old card and destroy it.
Rewards Credit Cards: You can redeem remaining reward points for cash back, merchandise and travel until 11:59 p.m. CT on November 30. Learn more about your UMB credit card.
Recurring, automatic internal transfers you set up in online banking before October 10 carried over to your UMB account.
If you had set up external account transfers, those transfers did not carry over as this functionality is not supported.
Daily cutoff times for transaction processing at UMB may vary from your current cutoff times. Additionally, some incoming deposits from external transfers may take up to five business days to appear in your account.
For more details on access to funds, please read the Funds Availability Policy in your UMB Deposit Account Agreement, which you received in early September, and visit our business online banking resources.
If you previously received a combined statement for all your accounts, you will begin receiving individual account statements.
You can update your delivery preferences and download statements collectively in online banking.
Off-cycle statement
Shortly after conversion weekend, you’ll receive an additional statement for your deposit account (outside of your normal statement cycle). This additional statement will note transactions posted to your account through Friday, October 10. You’ll receive your next statement as usual, noting transactions from October 11 through the remainder of your normal statement cycle.
Off-cycle interest credit
On Friday, October 10, you received a credit from your previous bank for interest earned from your last interest credit through October 13. This was the amount of interest not yet paid during your monthly interest cycle. You’ll receive a second credit from UMB for interest earned from October 14 through the remainder of your normal interest cycle.
Most customers will keep their same deposit account numbers and do not need to update checks, recurring direct deposits or payments at this time. If you need a new deposit account number before conversion, we will contact you.
For incoming wires and ACH transactions, continue using your existing payment instructions at this time.
Please continue to use your previous bank’s routing number. You do not need to update checks, recurring direct deposits or payments at this time. If you need to switch to the UMB routing number, we will contact you. For reference, the UMB divisional bank routing numbers are:
- Arizona Bank & Trust: 122106015
- Bank of Blue Valley: 101101950
- Citywide Banks: 107005953
- Dubuque Bank and Trust: 073900535
- FirstBank & Trust Texas: 111319347
- Illinois Bank & Trust: 071925554

- New Mexico Bank & Trust: 107006541
- Premier Valley Bank: 121143273
- Wisconsin Bank & Trust: 075907594
Your previous bank branches are now UMB Bank branches, and most customers can continue working with their same banking teams. If there is a change, we’ll contact you directly.
You also have access to over 350 ATMs nationwide at UMB branches.
Visit locations.UMB.com to find a UMB branch or ATM near you.

Most customers will keep their same deposit account numbers. If you require a new deposit account number before conversion, we will contact you.

Account Statements
If you currently receive a combined statement for all your accounts, you will begin receiving individual account statements after conversion weekend. Combined statements are not available from UMB.
Analysis Statements and Billing
In preparation for conversion efforts, if you have your analysis fees debited on a monthly basis, your September account analysis fees will be debited to the designated account on October 7, 2025 (not the 15th of the month).
UMB will waive October’s monthly maintenance and analysis fees to provide adequate time to meet balance waivers, evaluate your new deposit account and to assist during conversion. Your first analysis charge will be on December 2, 2025, for activity occurring in the month of November. Note, if you are not settling analysis charges monthly, your current billing schedule will carry over to UMB and your first charge at UMB will align accordingly (the first billing cycle will reflect the waived fees for October). Going forward, for analyzed account types, UMB will debit your key billing account(s) on the 2nd business day per your billing schedule.
Account Type and Fee Information
To provide a smooth transition, UMB is moving you to a product similar to your current account type. UMB is waiving the monthly maintenance fee and other associated charges for the first service charge cycle to provide adequate time to evaluate your new deposit account.
Overdraft Policy Changes
For business accounts, UMB charges an insufficient funds charge for each item returned for insufficient funds, and an overdraft charge for each item that is paid and results in an overdrawn balance. UMB has no minimum transaction threshold amount for which an insufficient funds or overdraft charge will be applied, and there is no limit to the number of these charges per day. However, beginning October 14, 2025, your UMB debit and/or ATM card transactions will not authorize if the associated deposit account’s available balance is insufficient to cover the transaction amount. You will not be assessed a charge for a debit card transaction that is declined.
Additionally, you may have been assigned a discretionary overdraft dollar threshold by which your account was allowed to become overdrawn, depending on your account type. This threshold was $750 and was based on your checking account type. Your discretionary overdraft dollar threshold will not carry forward to UMB. UMB will decide whether to pay items that overdraw your account based on the item presented for payment. These overdraft policy changes will not impact any Overdraft Protection services that you currently use (ex: account-to-account transfer overdraft protection).
How to Access Your Accounts
For existing online banking users, beginning October 14, 2025, you will access your accounts via UMB Premier Business Online Banking, unless you have been contacted separately about moving to a different platform. Additional information on Premier Business Online Banking will be sent to online banking users. Visit our business online banking resources to learn more.

Deposit Control Panel (“DCP”) is IntraFi’s online portal to view additional details about your ICS account beyond what is available within online banking. Please refer to the user guide you received in early September to establish user access to UMB’s Deposit Control Panel after 5 p.m. CT on October 14, 2025.
Account Visibility Changes within Online Banking
In your current online banking platform, you may have a separate account tile that outlines your ICS balances; however, this will work differently at UMB. Beginning October 14, when you switch to Premier Business Online Banking, the balances for ICS will be displayed on the sweep account’s available balance field. This field reflects the combined amount of the balance in your account at UMB and the associated ICS balance of the account.
ICS Statement Information
If you wish to retain ICS statement history from your current DCP portal, please download your statements before October 10, 2025. Note: there will not be an ICS statement that reflects activity between October 1 – 13. If you wish to retain records of transactions between these dates, within DCP go to the Transaction History available under Account History tab and export these transactions for your records.
For the month of October, statements pulled from UMB’s IntraFi Deposit Control Panel will only reflect activity after conversion weekend (October 14 – 31, 2025).
Additional Information
Excluded Banks: Any exclusions you’ve selected will transition over as part of the conversion weekend activities.
Agreement: The agreement with HTLF for your Insured Cash Sweep accounts is based on terms that were set when the agreement was signed. Your agreement with will not change based on this transition. As a reminder, the interest rate on your account may change from day to day at any time.
Liquidation on HTLF to new account at UMB IntraFi: Over conversion weekend accrued interest will be compounded to the principal balance of your ICS account and will result in funds being redistributed across the IntraFi network of banks.
Savings and Money Market Accounts
HTLF savings and money market accounts transitioned to UMB accounts. Your previous account determined your current account. View your previous account statement for your previous account type.

Most customers will keep their same deposit account numbers. If you require a new deposit account number before conversion, we will contact you.
Most customers do not need to update checks, recurring direct deposits or payments to the UMB routing number at this time. If it is necessary for you to switch to the UMB routing number before conversion, we will contact you.
Excessive Withdrawals
Your UMB money market and/or savings accounts are subject to withdrawal limitations, and exceeding these limitations may result in charges. Please review the account overview and disclosure for your account to learn more about the types of transactions subject to limitations and charges that may apply.
Interest-Bearing Accounts
For interest-bearing accounts, UMB strives to provide an interest rate comparable to the interest rate of your current account. The interest rate and the annual percentage yield on your account may change from day to day at any time at the discretion of UMB.

Time Deposit Accounts (Certificates of Deposit)
At UMB, your CD is referred to as a Time Deposit Account (TDA).
All time deposit investments are subject to the UMB time deposit agreement and early withdrawal penalties. Unless additional instructions are received, all future contributions shall be invested or reinvested for the same term at the prevailing rate for that term.
Your TDA will continue with the same interest rate and maturity date.
Your early withdrawal penalties will change effective October 14, 2025.
Please refer to the overview and disclosure for more information about Time Deposit Accounts, which you received in early September.
Payment of Interest
UMB provides options to receive interest earned on your TDA, including crediting interest to your TDA, crediting interest to a UMB deposit account, or issuing a check for the interest amount. UMB’s default is to credit interest back to the principal balance of your TDA.
UMB does not credit interest payments to external (non-UMB) accounts. If you currently receive interest payments to an external account, you will receive interest checks to the account address on file.
Renewals
For most customers, upon maturity, your TDA will automatically renew for the same term. We will contact you if this does not apply.
Important fraud reminder
Scammers often try to exploit business transitions, like acquisitions and mergers. Please remember: We will never contact you to request or confirm confidential information or request a video call, and we’ll never ask for sensitive data like PINs, or online banking usernames, passwords or access codes. If you suspect fraud, contact our customer service team immediately.
Commonly asked questions
UMB will make every effort to update merchants that you’ve authorized to store your debit card payment information with your new UMB debit card information.
However, this may not apply to all merchants. After conversion, follow up with all authorized merchants to confirm they have your new UMB debit card number and ensure your payments continue to process uninterrupted.
You received a UMB business ATM card if your previous account converted to a UMB savings account. Your UMB ATM card can only be used for ATM transactions, including withdrawals and balance inquiries.
ATM cards: You can call the number on the back of your new card or visit a UMB branch, and one of our associates will gladly assist you.
For debit and ATM cards, you can also see real-time pending card transactions in UMB online banking and the UMB Mobile app and use this information to determine which card belongs to which deposit account.
We use various card authorization limits to protect you, the cardholder. We use a combination of single transaction limits and daily dollar limits, which are disclosed on the card mailer to which your UMB business debit or ATM card will be affixed.
Once you have a physical card in-hand, you can add it directly to your mobile wallet app by manually entering your card payment information. Load your UMB card directly to Apple Pay®, Google Wallet™, Samsung Pay or Garmin Pay™.
Up to 19 months of deposit account statements and transaction history from your previous online banking carried over to UMB. While transaction and statement history is available when you first log in, the last statement from your previous bank will be available after conversion.
Historical account analysis statements did not transfer to UMB systems.
Deposit insurance protection covers funds on deposit in any checking account, savings account (including money market savings account) or time deposit accounts maintained with UMB.
