Important account information
As part of the transition, new UMB-branded cards were issued to all active cardholders to replace previous cards.
Please communicate this information to your active cardholders:
Outstanding balances and statements
Outstanding balances on your HTLF Accounts were not transferred to your new UMB Accounts.
Your October statement (central or individually billed) is due in full on the scheduled due date. If automatic payments are in place, the payment will be drawn as scheduled from the bank account currently on file.
- After conversion weekend, you will receive two statements:
- An HTLF statement for your remaining October HTLF card activity and reflecting the balance due.
- A UMB statement reflecting new transactions using your UMB cards and reflecting the balance due.
- Your Account’s billing cycles will not change.
- Automatic payments of the card balance for the Accounts will continue to use the demand deposit account designated for payments.
Please review the materials sent to you in early September for available payment methods.
Online account management
Based on your previous online account management needs, your card program was granted access to one of the following platforms:
- UMB Commercial Credit Card Online Platform (also referred to as “UMBCC”)
- Premier Business Online Banking
- Fleet Card Platform
Please refer to the chart below or your welcome letter delivered in early September to determine your card program access.

Card payments (ACH Positive Pay/Filter)
You need to update your ACH Positive Pay/Filter to continue autopayments on credit cards converted to UMB.
Most credit card autopayments will continue as they are set up today. However, if you use an ACH Positive Pay/Filter service on your bank account, you need to update the filter to allow the UMB debit to post for payment, ensuring your payments continue. This account may be at UMB or another bank.
To update the filter, follow the steps for commercial credit cards:
- If you’re enrolled in the UMB Commercial Card platform, update the filter to UMB Company ID 1980455904.
- If you’re enrolled in a different UMB Online Banking platform or make payments to your card via phone, update the filter to UMB Company ID 9470535472.
Electronic Accounts Payment (EAP) /
Integrated Payables Program
When your Commercial Card Program converted to UMB, so did your Electronic Accounts Payable (EAP) / Integrated Payables Program. While many account features, including all account user and supplier templates, remain the same, there are a few changes.
Important Changes to Your EAP / Integrated Payables Program
Updated Customer IDs: New Buyer IDs were provided prior to conversion via your account officers and the commercial card support team.
Online Access: Access to Priority CPX remains the same for payment processing, settlements, and authorizations. However, you now access account statements through the UMB Commercial Card (UMBCC) online platform. You can also view transactions through UMBCC.
You can access Priority CPX and UMBCC through the Business Banking login menu on UMB.com. Please note that single sign-on is not supported through online banking at this time.
- For card transactions created prior to October 10, 2025, you can view and retrieve statements and outstanding balances through the CPX platform.
- For transactions created after October 10, 2025, you can view and retrieve statements and outstanding balances in UMBCC.
Visit the Commercial Credit Card Resource Center for additional resources, such as user guides and tutorial videos on UMBCC.
Outstanding Balances and Statements:
- Outstanding balances on your card were not transferred to UMB.
- Your October statement (central or individually billed) is due in full on the scheduled due date. Automatic payments will continue to be drawn as scheduled from the bank account currently on file.
- After conversion, you will receive two statements:
- An HTLF statement for your remaining October HTLF settled CPX virtual card activity and reflecting the balance due. Please download any historical statements you need prior to December 1, 2025.
- A UMB statement reflecting new EAP card transactions settled on the UMB CPX solution and reflecting the balance due.
- Your Account’s billing cycles will not change.
Expiration Dates: Expiration dates of card payments will change from 90 days to 30 days prior to conversion.
Action Required: Contact suppliers, specifically those that do not run transactions within 30 days, to inform them that expiration dates will be changing from 90 days to 30 days to avoid the reissuance of payments. If a supplier does not process payments prior to the expiration date, you will be required to reissue the payment through Priority CPX.
International Transactions: International currency transactions are not supported through Priority CPX. Please contact your Account Officer to discuss international card transaction options for your vendor payments.
ACH Return Transactions: ACH return transactions statuses (including returns) are now reflected in CPX.
Commonly Asked Questions: Please review our Electronic Accounts Payment (EAP) / Integrated Payables Program Commonly Asked Questions resource document for more details on program specifics.

You will receive information on your Company’s Commercial Credit Card Program separately, and you should refer to that for additional details related to your Account.
Visa Data Delivery (VCF File) Subscription
You will continue to receive services such as the delivery of your program’s daily data file now that your Commercial Card Program converted to UMB. The purpose of these files is to provide card transaction data, but these files can also support the transmission of card account, billing period, merchant data and enhanced transaction details.
You will still receive files at the same frequency you received them previously, and the delivery methods have not changed, but some commonly used files in your VCF File Subscription did change. This includes files that may be delivered to third parties, such as Concur or Expensify. If you have files delivered to a third party, you will need to update your information. For more details, review the VCF File Resource Guide.
If your Commercial Card Program runs any processes to load files, and these processes are dependent on the values in the file naming, please note this will need to be updated on October 14.
